Andrew Yule & Co Ltd appoints Brajesh Kumar Srivastava as Government Nominee Director
Shri Brajesh Kumar Srivastava is a Post Graduate in Physics and has done MBA in Human Resource Management.
Shri Brajesh Kumar Srivastava, has been appointed as Part-time Official Director (Govt. Nominee) on the Board of Andrew Yule & Co. Ltd. (AYCL) as per the order issued by the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Govt. of India on 14th July, 2025.
Shri Brajesh Kumar Srivastava is a Post Graduate in Physics and has done MBA in Human Resource Management. Shri Srivastava is having a varied experience of over 32 years in Government involving Policy formulation, Implementation, Operational, Human Resource, Finance, Parliamentary matters. Some of the specifics are as under:
• presently, working in the Ministry of Heavy Industries as Deputy Secretary for the last 4 months looking after some CPSEs and Govt Director in the Board of AYCL.
• worked as Deputy Secretary in Ministry of Civil Aviation for over 5 years involving overall aviation security architecture with intense interaction with ICAO, BCAS, DGCA, CISF, MHA and NASFT. Possessing a fair understanding of all regulatory aviation security matters. All finance related subjects pertaining to MoCA, DGCA, BCAS, AAIB etc.
• worked in the Ministry of External Affairs (for over 5 years) involving energy security (Hydrocarbon, Power, Renewable sectors) and soft as well as defence diplomacy in Developing Partnership verticle.
• worked in LBSNAA Mussoorie (for about 2 years) involving Administration, Finance, Protocol and Estate management.
• worked in Ministry of Home Affairs involving Legislation and Administration.
• worked in Ministry of Steel on private steel sector, coal block/linkage matters and administration of PSUs.
