RITES Dispatches 7th and 8th Locomotives to Mozambique

New Delhi, Feb 23, 2026: RITES Limited continues to expand India’s railway footprint globally as it readies the 7th and 8th locomotives from its 10-unit export order for dispatch to Maputo, Maputo, Mozambique.

The loading of the 7th locomotive has already been completed, while preparations for the 8th unit are in the final stages. The locomotive is expected to sail shortly, marking another milestone in the execution of the export contract.
