BEL appoints Bharatsinh Prabhatsinh Parmar as Independent Director
Parmar does not have relationship with any other Directors of the Company and is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other statutory authority.

New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited today states that the Ministry of Defence, Government of India appointed Shri Bharatsinh Prabhatsinh Parmar as Non-Official Director (Independent Director) on the Board of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). In this regard, the Board of Directors through circular resolution appointed Shri Bharatsinh Prabhatsinh Parmar, (DIN:07781550), as Additional Director (Independent Director) w.e.f 21st May 2025.
Parmar does not have relationship with any other Directors of the Company and is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other statutory authority.

He is not disqualified from holding the office of Director pursuant to provision of Section 164 of the Companies Act, 2013.
Shri Bharatsinh Prabhatsinh Parmar, a former Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) has gained graduation in two streams i.e. B Com and LLB. He is a professional with a strong background in Agriculture,Commerce and Law.
Shri Bharatsinh Prabhatsinh Parmar has held key positions including serving as a Member of Parliament (2008-2014) and Chairman of Gujarat State Police Housing Corporation (1999-2003). His leadership and managerial expertise span across State Government organization.
