Rail Vikas Nigam Limited appoints Chandan Kumar Verma, a 2000 batch IRAS officer, as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Chandan Kumar Verma appointed as Chief Financial Officer of RVNL — Chandan Kumar Verma, IRAS officer and seasoned finance expert, takes over as CFO of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited.

The Board of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) who is currently serving as Executive Finance at the company has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Sanjeeb Kumar, Director (Finance) of the Company was earlier serving this position.

Mr. Chandan Kumar Verma is an Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) officer of

2000 examination batch. He has done B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Botany from the University of Allahabad, Prayagraj.

He has extensive experience in financial management, including budget monitoring, financial planning, and the preparation and evaluation of tender documents for EPC and PMC contracts.

He served as General Manager and subsequently as Group General Manager

(Finance) at Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), where he was responsible for liaison with the Railway Board and Zonal Railways, and for the overall supervision of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.

He is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of HSRC Infra Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of RVNL.
