Dalip Kumar Deputed to RVNL as Sr. DGM (Vigilance)
The Railway Board approves the three-year deputation of Shri Dalip Kumar (AMM/Northern Railway) to Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL) as Senior DGM (Vigilance) at the Corporate Office in New Delhi.

New Delhi, November 28, 2025 – The Ministry of Railways has approved the deputation of Shri Dalip Kumar, presently serving as AMM/Sig./C/HQ in Northern Railway (Stores), to Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL). He will take up the role of Senior Deputy General Manager (Vigilance) at RVNL’s Corporate Office in New Delhi. According to the Railway Board’s order, Shri Dalip Kumar will serve on the usual terms of deputation, which include parent pay plus deputation allowance, for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The appointment is also subject to the Government’s approval for exemption from the rule requiring immediate absorption into RVNL.
The officer has been requested to assume his new assignment once relieved from his current post in Northern Railway. The official order was issued by Roshan Kumari Meena, Under Secretary, Railway Board, and circulated to senior officials including the Chairman & Managing Director of RVNL as well as key directorates of the Railway Board. This deputation is expected to strengthen vigilance operations within RVNL, a leading public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways that is managing multiple large-scale rail infrastructure projects across India. With Shri Dalip Kumar’s expertise, RVNL aims to further enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in its project execution.
