A PSU under the Department of Fertilisers, National Fertilisers Limited (NFL), has named Mahesh Chander Gupta as its Director (Marketing). The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved his appointment on March 5.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Gupta has been appointed to the position effective from the date he assumes charge until his retirement on September 30, 2027, or until further notice, whichever comes first.
Gupta was recommended for the role of Director (Marketing) of NFL by the PESB Selection Panel on September 5, 2024, from a pool of 10 candidates.

As Director (Marketing) of NFL, Gupta will be a member of the board of directors and will report to the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). He will act as head of the marketing division of the company.
He will be responsible for marketing operations of the company including formulation and implementation of the marketing policies keeping in view company's profitability and objectives.
