Mir Mohammed Ali Appointed CMD of Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd
Sri. Mir Mohammed Ali IAS has been appointed as Chairman and Managing Director of Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd. on deputation basis, as per Govt. Order dated May 7, 2025.
Thiruvananthapuram, May 7, 2025. The Government of Kerala has appointed Sri. Mir Mohammed Ali, IAS (KL:2011), as the new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd. (KSEB Ltd.). This appointment is made on a deputation basis according to the terms set by the General Administration Department.

The decision, confirmed by Government Order No. 99/2025/POWER dated May 7, 2025, places Sri. Mir Mohammed Ali's services with the Power Department for this important leadership role. He will take charge of KSEB Ltd., which is essential for power generation, transmission, and distribution across Kerala.
Before this, Sri. Mir Mohammed Ali was the Managing Director of the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (KSIDC). There, he was recognized for leading several infrastructure and investment projects.
This appointment is expected to bring new energy to KSEB's operations and support Kerala’s efforts toward sustainable and efficient power management.
