Northern Coalfields Ltd onboards Mamta Palariya as Non-Official Independent Director

New Delhi, August 26, 2025: The wholly-owned subsidiary of Coal India Ltd., Northern Coalfields Ltd., has appointed Smt. Mamta Palariya (DIN-07749007) as Non-Official Independent Director, on the board of the company. The date of notification of her appointment has been extended until the end of her tenure as Non-Official Director on the Board of Coal India Limited, i.e., 27.03.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Brief Profile of Smt. Mamta Palariya:
She holds a master’s degree, Bachelor's degree and LLB from Kumaun University. She is an Advocate by profession and has been practising in the Civil Court, Haldwani (Uttarakhand), since 1986. She was an Independent Director in Bharat Wagon and Engineering Company Ltd. (2017-2020) and ITI Limited (2021-2024).
