PESB panel recommends Proteek Kumar Chakraborty as Director (Finance) of ECIL
The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) Panel on Wednesday suggested Proteek Kumar Chakraborty for the next Director (Finance) of Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL)

New Delhi: Proteek Kumar Chakraborty was recommended as the next Director (Finance) of Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a PSU run under the Department of Atomic Energy. The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) Panel on Wednesday suggested him for the role. Right now, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has him acting as the Additional General Manager of Finance.
From a list of 11 candidates who were interviewed by the PESB Selection Panel in their selection conference on March 19, Chakraborty has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of ECIL.

Four of the eleven candidates were from BHEL, one from Brahmaputra Valley Fertiliser Corporation Limited (BVFCL), Hil (India) Limited, NTPC Limited, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), NMDC Limited and Dnh Power Distribution Corporation Limited.
Chakraborty will be a member of the Board of Directors and will be answerable to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) as Director (Finance) of ECIL. He will be overall in-charge of the finance and accounts operations of the company and will be in charge of developing and devising policies about finance and accounts as well as execution.
