Shri RVN Vishweshwar Appointed Director (Finance) of Hindustan Copper Limited

Mumbai: Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), a major public sector company under the Ministry of Mines, has appointed Shri RVN Vishweshwar as Director (Finance) on its Board. This decision aims to improve HCL's financial leadership as interest grows in India's mineral sector and value-added copper production.
The Ministry of Mines confirmed his appointment through Order No. Met3-10/1/2024-METAL III dated July 25, 2025, following Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Shri Vishweshwar will take charge soon, and his tenure will last until July 31, 2029, or until further notice.

About Shri RVN Vishweshwar
Shri Vishweshwar is an experienced financial strategist with over 17 years at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). He last held the position of Executive Director (Corporate Finance & Treasury). At IOCL, he managed foreign exchange transactions exceeding $100 million daily, led SAP (FICO) integration, improved taxation policies, and drove digital transformation projects in finance.
His appointment reflects a renewed focus on financial transparency, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth at HCL, which is listed on BSE (Code: 513599) and NSE (Symbol: HINDCOPPER).
