SJVN Limited Appoints Parthajit De as Whole-time Director (Finance)

SHIMLA: SJVN Limited, a premier Navratna CPSE, has officially announced the appointment of Shri Parthajit De as its new Whole-time Director (Finance). The appointment, cleared by the Ministry of Power, is effective from March 19, 2026, for a five-year tenure.
With this transition, Shri Sipan Kumar Garg, who was holding additional charge of the Finance portfolio and the role of Chief Financial Officer, will step down from those responsibilities.

Shri Parthajit De transitions to SJVN after a stellar 27-year career at NHPC Limited. A Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), De is recognized for his deep expertise in Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Tariff Regulations.
