Suvendu Kumar Swain appointed as Member, PSB
Currently, Swain is serving as Chief Post Master General (CPMG) in Odisha Circle in HAG Grade.
An ace Odia film director and an Indian Postal Service officer Suvendu Kumar Swain (IPoS:1990) has been appointed as a Member of the Postal Services Board (Banking & Direct Benefit Transfer) w.e.f. 01.09.2024.
Currently, Swain is serving as Chief Post Master General (CPMG) in Odisha Circle in HAG Grade.
In the new responsibility, Swan replaces Kishan Kumar Sharma (IPoS:1990) who is currently working as CPMG, Maharashtra Circle.
K K Sharma was given the position of Member, PSB (Banking & DBT) on promotion in HAG+ Grade on his last day of service i.e. 31.08.2024.

Reportedly, Swain has several Odia films to his credit of which three were hit on big-screens.
