Kolkata: Constitution Day also known as Samvidhan Divas was observed at CIL Hq. Kolkata, to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. Shri. Pramod Agrawal, Chairman, CIL, Shri. R.P. Srivastava, DP&IR, CIL, Shri. S.N.Tiwary, DM, CIL and Shri. Saroj Kumar Sadangi, CVO, CIL paid floral tributes to Dr. Ambedkar, the Father of the Indian Constitution on the occasion.
 
The Hon’ble President of India read out the Preamble of the Indian Constitution in a live telecast and was joined by the Chairman CIL, FDs and CVO along with the employees who read out the Preamble, from Kolkata.

Chairman, CIL gave away the prizes to the winners of the Painting and Essay competitions organised as a part of the Citizens Duties Awareness Programme.  Ms. Madhusmita Kirtania daughter of Shri. M.K. Kirtania, Admin. Dept, Ms. Tiyasha Biswas, daughter of Shri. Subrata Biswas, Systems Department and Master Arpit Karmakar, son of Sri Alok Karmakar, Marketing Department bagged the first, second and third prize respectively in the Painting competition.
