IGL proud fuel supplier of world largest CNG fleet
New Delhi: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is widely used across Delhi-NCR to fuel passenger and commercial vehicles (cars, autos, tuk-tuk rickshaw, DTC, UPSRTC and DIMTS cluster busses). Indraprastha Gas Limited, is one of India 's leading natural gas distribution companies. IGL supplies natural gas as cooking and vehicular fuel. Established in 1998, the company operates primarily in the Indian state of Delhi.
The year ended 31 March 2019, in the absence of the agreement effective 1 April 2018 for the Delhi region, an additional amount of Rs. 4.90 crores has been provided in the books of account towards estimated revision in trade margin and facility charges payable to the OMCs.
The Company recognised Rs. 4.23 crores for provident fund contributions (previous year Rs. 3.35 crores) in the statement of profit and loss.
