New Delhi: Mr. Arvind Kumar, Managing Director of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited Conferred with Centre for Excellence in Project Management (CEPM) Fellowship Award. He is a well-recognized professional who has transformed his vision to reality in planning and executing major mega projects in petroleum. His concept of Integrating Clients and Consultants is well appreciated in the industry.
The award has been in recognition of his par excellence in team building and in managing complex projects with success. He has bveen conferred on 15/12/2021 at the Opening ceremony of the World Project Management Forum (WPMF) 2021 held virtually.
Dr.Hiroshi Tanaka, Founder and Past President of Project Management association of Japan(PMAJ), Mr.Adesh Jain, Chairman of the International Institute of Projects and Program Management (12P2M) and the founder of the World Project Management Forum (WPMF) and Mr.TKA Nair, Member of the Board, JICA International, Japan were present in the event.
The award is conferred to those distinguished professionals who have made a mark in their profession not only covering project management but also outshining in administrative leadership and general management. Mr. Arvind Kumar is a well-recognized professional. who has transformed his vision to reality in planning and executing major mega projects in the petroleum sector. He was given the award for his commitment and innovative ways of managing mega projects while at Indian Oil during his leadership role at Mathura Refinery of IOCL.
Also, his commitment to build competencies amongst project professionals across the organization and the recent major initiative in launching the integrated approach in synergizing the owners, consultants and contractors, will have tremendous implications executing mega projects ensuring business excellence.
