NLCIL Recognized With The Government of India Swachhta Hi Seva 2019 Awards
New Delhi: NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL), has recognized with the Government of India's Swachhta Hi Seva 2019 Awards for making ‘extremely valuable contribution for Plastic-free,green campaign and implementation.
The Swachhta Hi Seva programme, an initiative of the Swachch Bharat Mission, was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in September 2019.
The evaluating committee of Ministry of Coal,GoI after carrying out due assessment, had given marks to each of the units of NLCIL , as per their performance. The Township Administration Office ranked at the top with 94.33 marks, followed by the TPS-1 with 91.77 marks and Mines Sub-Stores with 89.67 marks.
On this occasion, the CMD, NLCIL Shri Rakesh Kumar and Functional Directors accolades the performance of the Town Administrative Office, TPS-1 and Mines Sub-Stores and handed over the awards to the respective Unit Heads on 21.08.2020
