NBCC Bags ₹775.27 Crore DDA Redevelopment Projects in New Delhi
New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited has received work orders worth approximately ₹775.27 crore (excluding GST and marketing fee) from the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for the comprehensive redevelopment of staff quarters in New Delhi.
The company informed both National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE Symbol: NBCC/EQ) and BSE Limited (Scrip Code: 534309) about the development in a regulatory filing dated February 26, 2026.

1. Old Rajinder Nagar Redevelopment

The project envisions the development of approximately 99,635 square meters of built-up area (BUA) (excluding external development). Currently, 117 dwelling units are being used as staff quarters at the site.
2. Safdarjung Development Area Redevelopment

Scope: Comprehensive redevelopment of DDA staff quarters
The proposed development includes around 65,925 square meters of built-up area (excluding external development). Presently, 152 dwelling units are in use by DDA staff at this location.
Self-Sustainable Development Model
Both projects will be executed under a self-sustainable model, wherein:

A portion of the developed built-up area will be commercially sold.

Funds generated from the sale will finance project development.

The remaining built-up area, as determined by DDA, will be handed over for staff usage.
The final built-up area figures remain tentative and will be approved after a detailed survey and submission of a Detailed Project Report (DPR).
Strategic Significance
These projects are part of DDA’s initiative to redevelop aging and dilapidated housing infrastructure in prime locations of New Delhi. For NBCC, the contracts fall within its normal course of business and further strengthen its presence in urban redevelopment and government infrastructure projects.
The award reinforces NBCC’s role as a key execution agency for large-scale redevelopment initiatives in the national capital.
