NTPC Ltd. Unaudited Financial Results for Q3 FY - 2019
New Delhi: The Country’s largest power generator - NTPC Ltd. having installed capacity of 53166 MW declared the financial results for the third quarter and nine months of the financial year 2018-19.
For 9M FY19, NTPC generated 205.257 Billion units against 197.239 Billion units generated in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering an increase of 4.07%. NTPC has posted the highest quarterly generation of 70.057 Billion units during Q3 FY19, surpassing previous highest quarterly generation of 69.212 Billion Units during Q1 FY19. For the 9M FY18, NTPC Coal stations achieved PLF of 76.09% as against National average of 61.12%.
The Total Income of Rs. 69,633.95 crore for 9M FY18 showed an increase of 13.06% against the Total Income of Rs. 61,590.12 crore reported for the previous corresponding period. Profit Before Tax for 9M FY19 is Rs. 9,135.35 crore as compared to Rs. 8,950.89 crore declared in the corresponding period of previous year. The Profit After Tax for 9M FY19 is Rs. 7,399.57 crore.
The Total Income of Rs. 24,308.01 crore for the quarter registered an increase of 15.27% against Total Income of Rs. 21,087.84 crore in the Q3 FY18. For Q3 FY19, Profit Before Tax is Rs. 3,489.54 crore as against Rs. 2,644.09 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year, registering an increase of 31.98%. The Profit After Tax for Q3 FY19 is Rs. 2,385.41 crore.
