Abhyudaya – Centre For Learning for BEL employees launched

New Delhi: Over the years, BEL has been giving an impetus to Learning & Development within the organisation to nurture a learning curve among its employees and to facilitate their holistic development. The year 2017 was a milestone for this journey as BEL established Nalanda – the BEL Academy for Excellence (BAE) for carrying out executive training programmes across the Company.

BAE added yet another feather to its cap yesterday with the inauguration of Abhyudaya – Centre For Learning (ACL) by Mr Bhanu Prakash Srivastava, CMD, in the presence of Mr Manoj Jain, Director (BG Complex), and Mr Vikraman N, Director (HR).

Abhyudaya's vision is to enhance the capabilities and skills of non-executives across the Company. It is a significant step towards facilitating the holistic development of our employees by imparting high-quality learning across the three domains of Behavioural, Technical & Quality.

The first set of training programmes for employees were kick-started on the same day. Around 100 non-executives across the Units of BEL attended the three programmes: ‘Effective Leadership – Workers Participation in Management’ (Behavioural), ‘Basic Electronics for Non-electronics (Technology) and ‘Productivity Enhancement Tools’ (Quality).
