Balmer Lawrie unveiled new 43,000 sqft warehousing facility
Kolkata: Balmer Lawrie unveiled its new 43,000 sqft state-of-the-art warehousing facility at its Container Freight Station (CFS) in Kolkata. Mr. Adika Ratna Sekhar, Chairman & Managing Director inaugurated the warehouse in the presence of Directors and Senior Officials of the Company.
Post pandemic, the Eastern Region saw a surge in demand for warehousing space primarily on account of Intermediate storage of EXIM cargo, and this trend is expected to stay in vogue.
Balmer Lawrie expects that the new warehouse will help in generating additional revenue for the unit coupled with growth in volumes.
