Bengaluru: Kargil Vijay Diwas was commemorated at BEL's Bengaluru Complex on July 26, 2022. Senior officers and security staff laid down wreathes to pay homage to the bravehearts of India's armed forces who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
Mr R P Mohan, GM (HR)/BG, was the chief guest. The CME of Mag No.1, Colonel Charanjit Singh, Commander Siddharth Rawat of NTG, Mr Suresh Michael, AGM (HR)/BG, Mr Gururaj, DGM (HR), Mr Anoop Nair, Chief of Security Services, Addl CSO
Mr Jitendra Singh, SSO Mr Manogaran P, SFO Mr Rahul Sahu, office-bearers and leaders of trade unions, Ex-servicemen of BEL, employees and trainees attended the event. Mr Anoop Nair, CSS, welcomed the dignitaries and addressed the gathering.
GM(HR) thanked the guests for gracing the occasion and said that BEL has always been in the forefront when it comes to guarding the nation's frontiers. BEL personnel were also stationed in Kargil to assist the armed forces.
