BPCL conducted a roadshow on behalf of oil and gas marketing companies
New Delhi: To promote Sustainable Alternative Towards Affordable Transportation (SATAT), BPCL conducted a roadshow on behalf of Oil and Gas Marketing Companies at Navi Mumbai yesterday, under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Shri Vijay Sharma, Director (GP), MoP&NG, presided over the event, which received overwhelming response from letter of intent holders of various OMCs & other stake holders, like Sugar Mills Owners, Entrepreneurs, Technology Providers & Bankers to collectively usher in a greener tomorrow.
Shri Milind Patke, Executive Director (Bio Fuels, BPCL and officers from other Oil Marketing Companies were also present at the Road Show.
Introduction of Compressed Bio Gas in Transport Sector has multiple benefits like, Waste Management, Reduction in Carbon Emissions, Reduced Crude Import Dependency, as well as, additional revenue source for farmers and boost to rural economy by generating employment opportunities.
