CCL's huge growth, registers 113% in production-4.84 MT in April 2021
Similarly, in other categories of coal offtake, CCL witnessed a growth of 122 percent in April 2021 ( 6.56 Million Tonnes) compared to the corresponding same month i.e April 2020 (2.96 Million Tonnes).
New Delhi: Category-I Mini-Ratna Company- The Historical March Central Coalfields Limited, also the Jharkhand-based arm of Coal India Limited (CIL) registered a growth of 113 percent in coal production (4.84 Million Tonnes) in April 2021 against April 2020 (2.28 Million Tonnes).
This is an unprecedented growth, in the situation where India is battling with the deadly virus, seeing the second wave this Mini-Ratna Company manages to give the cent percent in this situation.
Similarly, in other categories of coal offtake, CCL witnessed a growth of 122 percent in April 2021 ( 6.56 Million Tonnes) compared to the corresponding same month i.e April 2020 (2.96 Million Tonnes).
While this is not possible under the monitorship of Chairman cum Managing Director (CMD) CCL, PM Prasad who is constantly monitoring the mining activities through the virtual meeting with the Area General Managers and issuing necessary directives to them so that mining activities continue during this ongoing pandemic.
CMD of CCL has asked CMS, CCL, Area General Managers, and General Manager (SD and CSR) to work closely with the State Government and district administration to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
