CIL's Learning and Development Conclave concludes

Coal India Limited's Learning and Development Conclave - 2023 was organized based on the theme of 'Emerging Paradigms & Changing Dynamics of HRD In CIL' at Hotel Radisson, Nagpur on 14.07.2023.
The Chief Guest was Shri Vinay Ranjan, Director (Personnel), Coal India Limited. During his speech, he said that for the progress of the coal industry, it is necessary to prepare manpower according to the challenges of the coal sector.
He said that modern skills and thinking are necessary in management, only then the challenges of the present and future can be dealt with.

Therefore, both our vision and mission must be clear. He further said that proper planning of manpower and their proper training is necessary and in this direction, the morale of the personnel should always be high by creating a motivating environment.
Addressing the valedictory session, Mr. Manoj Kumar, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, WCL as the Chief Guest said that even small change initiatives are important.
The conference proveded to be a guide for the entire Coal India. He expressed his gratitude to CIL for entrusting the responsibility of organizing this conference to WCL. Along with this, he informed everyone about the efforts being made for the development of WCL officers, personnel and society.
The conference started with Coal India song and welcome and introductory address was given by Dr. Sanjay Kumar , Director (Personnel) , WCL. He expressed his gratitude to CIL for entrusting the responsibility of organizing this convention to WCL.Shri SK Gumashta, Director (Personnel), CMPDI and Smt. Kamakshi Ranjan, Executive Director, IICM, Ranchi were present as special guests in the conference.

He gave detailed information about all aspects of Learning and Development. A large number of participants asked questions to the speakers. The vote of thanks was done by the General Manager (HR/Admn./Public Relations) , WCL Shri P.Narendra Kumar.
On this occasion, the head of HR department and senior officers from the subsidiary companies of CIL were prominently present. The conference was coordinated by Mr. Harpreet Kaur, Manager (Personnel) and Mrs. Ritu Singh, Manager (Personnel).
