Coal fired power plants see an 8 percent fall in capacity utilisation
Kolkata: Capacity utilisation of thermal power plants dipped to 60% in October from 67.83% in April this year – a near 8% fall during the first seven months of the current financial.
October’s capacity utilisation figure is nearly 7% less than the capacity utilisation figure for October 2016 which stood at 66.86%.
