Shri Pramod Agrawal, Chairman CIL spoke on ‘Energy Security in India’ at MGMI’s 18th Foundation Day. Addressing the event virtually, he said that India’s growing energy needs, to a large extent can only be met by coal.

NEW DELHI- Shri Pramod Agrawal, Chairman CIL spoke on ‘Energy Security in India’ at MGMI’s 18th Foundation Day. Addressing the event virtually, he said that India’s growing energy needs, to a large extent can only be met by coal as it provides assured energy at affordable cost. He further stated CIL is focused on increasing the output to meet the vital electricity demand of the country.
Dr. B. Veera Reddy, Director (Tech) CIL & President, MGMI spoke about the importance of ramping up production from UG mines especially with availability of indigenous technologies now.
