EIL and Assam Bio-Refinery achieved major milestone

New Delhi: Team EIL along with Team ABRPL (Assam Bio-Refinery Private Limited) achieved a major milestone at the new Bio-Refinery Project in Numaligarh, Assam with the successful completion of Light Up and Refractory Dry Out of Boiler-1 in the Combined Heat & Power Plant (CHP) Package with HSD as fuel, thus marking the 1st phase of commissioning activities for the Package.

The CHP Plant is designed to consume all quantities of Bio Coal, Stillage Cake & Stillage Syrup, Lean & Rich gas and other Biofuels generated in the Bio-Refinery to produce steam through boilers.
