Commodore Sujay Kapoor selected as next Director (Production) at Bharat Dynamics Ltd
Commodore Sujay Kapoor has been appointed as Director Production at Bharat Dynamics Limited. He will oversee BDL’s manufacturing and production operations as a member of the Board of Directors.
The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has selected Commodore Sujay Kapoor as Next Director (Production) at Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL). The Board has recommended the name in the meeting held on 20.08.2025.
He is currently serving as Commodore at (Armament Production and Indigenization) of Indian Navy.
A total of eight candidates were interviewed for the respective post.

The candidates who appeared were hailing from reputed organisations like Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, Electronics Corporation of India Ltd, Indian Navy and Air Force Authority.
Currently, the Director (Production) post is held by Shri P.V. Raja Ram who assumed the charge on September 1, 2023.
As a Director (Production), Commodore Sujay Kapoor will have to authorise the BDL’s manufacturing and production segment and he will now be appointed as member of Board of Directors.
