GAIL inaugurates AI Tarang - GAIL's Artificial Intelligence Literacy and Capacity Building initiative
New Delhi, August 21, 2025: GAIL Tarang was inaugurated by Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta, CMD in the presence of Shri Deepak Gupta, Director (Projects), and Shri Ayush Gupta, Director (HR), along with senior officials and the young new joinees at GAIL. The event was held at GAIL Training Institute (GTI) Noida, which will be helming this initiave for the organization.
In his address to the attendees, Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta emphasized upon the importance of AI in enhancing organizational efficiency and decision-making across all levels.
Underlining the importance acquiring of AI skills, he stated that “We can’t just wish it away so better embrace the change“ and brought forth the need to innovate and invest time in design thinking.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ayush Gupta highlighted the significance of leveraging technology for unlocking the best potential and encouraged everyone to make use of this excellent initiative.
Post the inauguration, a short and informative webinar session was taken by Shri Nandan Mishra from IKIGAI on the virtues of AI and the structure of this programme for GAIL employees. This marks another milestone in GAIL's journey towards empowering a future-ready workforce.
