In a significant development for India’s logistics and maritime transport sector, CONCOR has successfully bridged the logistical gap between Chennai and Port Blair with the successful despatch of its first ICE BATTERY container with a set temperature of 5°C from Chennai to Sri Vijayapuram (Port Blair) on 26-12-2024, as per the release made.
This breakthrough aims to revolutionize the transportation of goods between the Indian mainland and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, significantly improving the efficiency, sustainability, and reliability of this vital shipping route.
