Former State Police Chief (SPC) of Kerala Loknath Behera (IPS :1985: KL) has been appointed as the Managing Director (MD) of Cochin Metro Rail Corporation
New Delhi: Former State Police Chief (SPC) of Kerala Loknath Behera (IPS :1985: KL) has been appointed as the Managing Director (MD) of Cochin Metro Rail Corporation. Behera, one of the longest-serving DGP in Kerala, retired in June this year. Prior to his retirement, he was one of the most speculated claimants of the CBI Chief post.
Though he missed the bus he was picked for the post-retirement job with Cochin Metro.
Lokanath Behera is a retired Indian Police Service officer. He was State Police Chief and Director General of Police of the Kerala State Police. He was the former Director of Vigilance in the state of Kerala, after T. P.
