Foundation day Celebration of NTPC's Rammam Hydroelectric Project

New Delhi: The foundation day of Rammam Hydroelectric Project was celebrated on 26th June, 2022. Back on this day in the year 2007, a historic agreement was signed between the Government of West Bengal and the Government of Sikkim in Kolkata, under which the foundation of the Rammam Hydroelectric Project was laid.

There was a different enthusiasm among all the employees of Rammam regarding the celebration of Foundation Day. The foundation day program began with the hoisting of the NTPC flag by Mr. Satish Upadhyay, Executive Director and Project Head (Rammam Hydroelectric Project). After hoisting the flag, Shri Satish Upadhyay addressed all the present employees and family members with a speech.

In the speech, Shri Satish Upadhyay told about the journey from the inception of the Rammam Hydroelectric Project till now and thanked all the employees for their dedication and commitment towards their project. Along with this, he also apprised everyone about the achievements of the Rammam Hydroelectric Project.

Shri Praveen Kumar Yadav, former Project Head, Rammam and Shri Manohar Krishna Asthana, Executive Director, QAI (Corporate Centre) were the special guests on the occasion of foundation day of Rammam Hydroelectric Project.

A cultural evening was also organized in the evening where Shri Satish Upadhyay inaugurated the vision and mission statement of Rammam Hydroelectric Project. All the heads of departments and employees participated in the program and made the program successful.
