GAIL bagged National Award for Excellence in Cost Management for 4th consecutive year in a row
This is the fourth time in a row that GAIL has secured the award for Excellence in Cost Management.
The award was received by Shri R K Jain, Director (Finance) & Shri Deepak Gupta, Director (Projects) on behalf of GAIL.
New Delhi: The Government owned natural gas explorer and producer, Gas Authority of India Limited has once again bagged the Award for Excellence in Cost Management from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) on April 20, 2022.
GAIL as organization has got 2nd Position in the 17th National Award for Excellence in Cost Management 2019 in Manufacturing Sector - Public Sector - Mega whereas Jamnagar Loni Pipeline (JLPL) has got 01st Position in Service Sector -Transportation and Logistics.
Instituted in the year 2003, by ICAI, the awards are presented annually to corporate entities in their journey towards excellence in cost management and cost management practices.
In a function held at Constitution Club of India, New Delhi on 20th April, 2022, the award was received by Shri R K Jain, Director (Finance) & Shri Deepak Gupta, Director (Projects) on behalf of GAIL. Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Union Minister (Commerce & Industry, Textiles, Consumer Affairs and Food & Public Distribution), Government of India presented the award. This is the fourth time in a row that GAIL has secured the award for Excellence in Cost Management.
