IREDA appoints Smt Manisha Saxena as Chief Vigilance Officer
Smt. Manisha Saxena CVO IREDA (PSU Connect)
New Delhi: Smt. Manisha Saxena, IRS 2000 (C&CE) assumed the charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of IREDA on 14th December 2020. Ms. Saxena is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS – Customs & Central Excise) Officer of 2000-batch. Before joining IREDA, Ms. Saxena was posted as Commissioner in Goods & Service Tax Commissionerate, Vadodara under the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs.
Ms. Saxena did her Master’s in Public Administration after graduating in Commerce from the University of Rajasthan. She has also done a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the University of Rajasthan. She is also an avid reader who has a special interest in music and movies.
Speaking on the occasion, CMD IREDA, Shri Pradip Kumar Das said, “CVO’s play a consistent role in bringing transparency and compliance in the system. All IREDA employees should leverage from the new CVOs experience in Indirect Taxes and GST”.
Ms. Saxena further added that she’s now in the Renewable Energy sector, however, after interacting with IREDA officials on her first day of joining, she already feels that she is part of the system.
IREDA mentions, "We welcome Ms. Manisha Saxena on behalf of the IREDA family and wish her all the best on becoming part of our growing organization."
