KIOCL Celebrates world blood donor day

New Delhi: Under the aegis of the Government of India, Department of Health & Family Welfare, MoH & FW, World Blood Donor Day was celebrated in Corporate Office & Mangaluru unit. The theme for 2023 is “Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often.

In association with St. John’s Medical College Hospital, Bengaluru, KIOCL organised Blood Donation Camp on 14.06.2023 in St. John’s Hospital. Officers, employees & contract labour donated blood.

Shri T Saminathan, CMD, Dr Shrinivasulu, Medical Superintendent, KIOCL, Medical team from St John’s Hospital were present on the occasion.

At Mangaluru, in association with KMC Hospital, a Medical camp was organised in Nehru Bhavan, KIOCL Township, Kavoor, Mangaluru. Employees, contract workers and CISF personnel donated blood. A good response was received from employees for blood donation and more than 100 members donated blood from the organisation.
