Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has lifted the Championship Trophy of All India Public Sector Golf Tournament 2022-23 while teams of Paradip Port Authority and NLC India Ltd settled with first and second position.

NEW DELHI- Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has lifted the Championship Trophy of All India Public Sector Golf Tournament 2022-23 while teams of Paradip Port Authority and NLC India Ltd settled with first and second position.
Shri M Nagaraju, IAS, Additional Secretary to Government of India, inaugurated the AIPS Golf Tournament 2022 on Saturday. Organised by MCL under aegis of All India Public Sector Sports Control Board at Mahanadi Golf Club course here, the tournament witnessed participation of 52 golfers from nine organisations.
Shri OP Singh, CMD, MCL, was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony held on Sunday. Shri Keshav Rao, Director (Personnel), Shri PK Patel, CVO, MCL, Shri JK Borah, Director (Tech), Shri AK Behura, Director (Finance) were also present.
MCL Team comprising Shri Jeetendra Kumar, Shri Bhagwat Nayak, Shri Vinayak D Jamwal, and Shri S K Bhoina, won the Team Championship Trophy .
Meanwhile, Team comprising Shri Bablu Sikdar, Shri Deepak Kumar Sarangi, Shri AC Sutar and Shri DN Sondhifrom Paradip Port Authority and Shri K Manoharan, Shri J Vishwanathan, Shri P Ramesh and Shri P Sethumadhavan from NLC India won the 1st and 2nd runners up trophies respectively.
