BEML and VSCB Member Organisations Organise Walkathon in Bengaluru to Mark Vigilance Awareness Week 2025
Bengaluru, October 25, 2025 – As part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, BEML Limited, in association with member Organisations of the Vigilance Study Circle, Bengaluru (VSCB) - namely HAL, BEL, BMRCL, KIOCL, Canara Bank, ITI, HMT, KAPL and BRBNMPL – organised a Walkathon in Bengaluru to promote he values of integrity and transparency in public life.
The walkathon was flagged off by the President, VSCB and Chief Vigilance Officer of BEML along with CVO’s of HAL and other member organisation of the Vigilance Study Circle, Bengaluru (VSCB), from Outer Gate – A of Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru. The event witnessed the participation of over 300 Participants from various organisations including BEML, HAL, BEL, KIOCL, Canara Bank, BMRCL, ITI, HMT, KAPL and BRBNMPL.
Director (HR), Director (Mining and Construction) and Director (Rail & Metro) of BEML Limited also witnessed and participated in the event, encouraging employees to uphold ethical values and integrity at all times.
The initiative aimed to spread awareness among employees and the general public on the importance of integrity, transparency, and collective responsibility in promoting good governance.
A large number of employees participated enthusiastically, carrying banners and placards highlighting messages such as “Say No to Corruption,” “Integrity – A Way of Life,” “Together Towards a Corruption-Free Society, Vigilance – Our Shared responsibility etc.”
Speaking on the occasion, CVO BEML Limited emphasized the importance of preventive vigilance and ethical conduct in both personal and professional spheres. He urged everyone to act with honesty and accountability in all their dealings.
The walkathon concluded at Outer Gate – A of Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru with the administration reiterating its commitment to maintaining transparency, integrity, and ethical values in all activities.
The Vigilance Awareness Week - 2025 is being observed across all units/offices of BEML Limited from 27th October to 02nd Nov 2025, with a series of activities including integrity pledges, seminars, competitions, and outreach programmes to reinforce the spirit of vigilance and good governance.
