Mr. Sanjay Kumar Jain appointed as CMD of IRCTC
The Railway Board of India has approved the appointment of Mr. Sanjay Kumar Jain as Chairman and Managing Director of IRCTC.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has approved the name of Mr. Sanjay Kumar Jain for the position of CMD. He is a Chartered Accountant and has leadership roles in policy making, commercial ventures, and development ventures of the Government of India and PSUs. He has portfolio experience in the Ministry of Railways, PSUs, and the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance.
He played an instrumental role in launching India's first executive lounge on the lines of airport lounges at New Delhi Railway Station.

He is an Indian Railway Traffic Service officer ( IRTS) of the 1990 batch as the Chairman and Managing Director of the Corporation.
