New Delhi: A five-member high-level Myanmar Railway team led by Mr. U. Aung Myaing, Dy. Minister, Transport & Communications, Myanmar visited BEML Bangalore Complex.
Accompanied by Mr. Amit Banerjee CMD BEML, the delegation went around the Rail&Metro manufacturing facilities and had a detailed discussion with BEML on the future development of Myanmar Railways. They showed keen interest in BEML Rolling stocks viz. Electrical Multiple Units, Diesel Multiple Units, Direct Electrical Multiple Units, and Metro Cars.
Expressing their happiness over the Rail& Metro manufacturing facilities available at BEMLBangalore, Mr. Myaing said, “BEML’s name is known for its products and Myanmar is looking forward to explore opportunities with BEML on its Rail products.”Mr. Amit Banerjee, CMD BEML assured them that the company will provide full support and assistance in this endeavour.
