NHPC signs MoU with Faridabad District Administration
New Delhi: NHPC signed an MOU with Faridabad District Administration towards institutionalizing of ‘Shikshit Haryana’ project with the vision to improve pass percentage of Govt. school students by streamlining the governance processes, alleviating educational inequity by providing free access to high-quality video lessons, improving infrastructure and facilities in government schools and thus improve learning outcomes by leveraging technology. The MOU was signed in the presence of Shri Yash Pal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad and Shri Rakesh Mor, DDPO, Faridabad and Shri R. K. Aggarwal, GM (Civil) – CSR, NHPC on 25th August 2020 at Faridabad.
As per the MOU, NHPC will give financial assistance of Rs. 12.00 lakh to Faridabad District Administration for implementing various measures as providing high quality video lessons, creating video lectures featuring star teachers from Govt. Schools, improving infrastructure and facilities in Govt. schools, setting up of Project Management Unit etc. in order to improve the Xth Class Board Results.
