NLC India Limited awarded First Prize by Coal Ministry

The year 2023 was the 8th consecutive year of Swachhata Pakhwada celebrated by NLCIL.

NLC India Limited awarded First Prize by Coal Ministry

As inspired by Hon'ble Prime Minister's vision, NLCIL duly celebrated "Swachhata Pakhwada" during 16th June to 30th June 2023, involving everyone in NLCIL’s Plants and Offices.

This fortnight of intense focus on cleanliness drive is being observed by NLCIL every year since April 2016 to instil in the minds of every citizen that cleanliness is everyone’s business so as to keep their surroundings spick and span.

The year 2023 was the 8th consecutive year of Swachhata Pakhwada celebrated by NLCIL.

For the observance of this year’s Swachhata Pakhwada, an indicative list of activities was prescribed based on the guidelines issued by the Cabinet Secretariat of the Ministry of Coal. Accordingly, to making it a success, Shri. Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD, NLCIL, Functional Directors Shri. K. Mohan Reddy, Shri. Suresh Chandra Suman, Shri. Samir Swarup and Shri. M. Venkatachalam, NLCIL’s CVO Shri. L. Chandrasekar, all the Senior officials, Executives, Employees of NLCIL, Trade Union leaders, Contract and INDCO Serve employees, Traders and all other stakeholders including the NLCIL’s outstation plants & offices and subsidiary companies have actively participated in various activities.

In appreciation of the activities performed, innovative ideas involved, maximum public participation and awareness programmes conducted during the event, NLCIL has been adjudged by the Ministry of Coal and awarded the 1st prize. The prize will be presented on 22.08.2023 in the Conference Room of Ministry of Coal, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi. 

NLCIL congratulates all stakeholders who contributed for the mighty achievement.
