NLCIL allots commercial paper aggregating to Rs 500 crore
NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has allotted 10,000 commercial papers of a face value of Rs5 lakh each.
New Delhi: NLC (India) Limited (NLCIL) has informed that 10,000 Nos. of Commercial Paper of a face value of Rs. 5,00,000/- each, aggregating to Rs500cr have been issued and allotted by the company.
On Wednesday, the scrip opened at Rs64.25 apiece and has touched a high and low of Rs66.90 and Rs62.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs8,777.41 crore.
NLC India Limited (NLC) (formerly Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited) is a 'Navratna' government of India company in the fossil fuel mining sector in India and thermal power generation. It annually produces about 30 million tonnes of Lignite from opencast mines at Neyveli in the state of Tamil Nadu in southern India and at Barsingsar in Bikaner district of Rajasthan state.
