NRL signed agreement with Kaziranga University and IFSA
New Delhi: Numaligarh Refinery Limited on Friday, in a significant R&D initiative has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Kaziranga University (KU) and the Institute of Frontier Science and Application (IFSA) to carry out a research project titled ‘Assessment of Wind Energy Potential in North East India’.

Mishra and Chairman IFSA Dr. P. Goswami at NRL Corporate Office in Guwahati today in the presence of Director (Finance) NRL Shri Sanjay Choudhuri and senior officials from NRL & KU.

As per the MoA, with funding from NRL, KU in technical collaboration with IFSA, will implement the project which aims to develop bankable wind energy assessment over Assam in the riverine environment using mobile Lidar observations for a period of three years.
