NSDC welcomed Govt representative delegations from Japan's Ehime prefecture

New Delhi: NSDC welcomed a delegation of government representatives from Japan's Ehime prefecture on May 16, 2023. The delegation was headed by the Deputy Governor, H.E. Mr. Hideki Tanaka, and its main goal was to promote the transfer of human resources from India to Ehime prefecture in Japan under the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) and Specified Skilled Worker (SSW).

From the India side, the meeting was chaired by Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, MSDE and saw participation of MEA and NSDC officials.

Both parties deliberated on easing the movement of Indian skilled workers to Japan by emphasizing on Japanese language training, sensitizing Indian youth on Japanese culture & lifestyle, opening new sector exams, and appropriate skill curriculum mapping.
