New Delhi, June 12, 2025: India's Largest power PSU, NTPC Limited, today announced the achievement of successful completion of trial operations for unit-3 of 660 MW capacity of the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project. The company significantly includes the installed capacity, boosting power infrastructure.

The North Karanpura project, loacted in Jharkhand is designed with a total capacity pf 3x6660 MW. With this, NTPC's total installed capacity on standalone and group basis has become 60266 MW and 81368 MW respectively.
