NTPC Korba successfully organized a comprehensive training workshop on Labour and Industrial Laws from November 14th to 15th, 2024, aimed at enhancing employees' knowledge of legal frameworks in the industrial sector. The workshop was conducted in collaboration with esteemed faculty members, Prof. P K Padhi and Prof. Tanmay Pattnayak, from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

The training workshop was held in three distinct phases, with the first two sessions focusing on NTPC Korba's employees, and the third session designed specifically for the SMC (Site Management Committee) members. Over 100 participants attended the sessions, benefitting from valuable insights on the evolving landscape of labour laws and their practical implications in the workplace.

The faculty members, Prof. P K Padhi and Prof. Tanmay Pattnayak, delivered expert sessions, covering topics such as employee rights, workplace safety regulations, dispute resolution mechanisms, and the latest amendments in industrial laws.

The workshop was inaugurated by Shri Rajeev Khanna, BUH (Business Unit Head) of NTPC Korba, who welcomed the faculty and participants with an encouraging address. Shri Khanna emphasized the importance of understanding legal frameworks in ensuring a harmonious and efficient work environment. He stated, "Knowledge of Labour and Industrial Laws is essential for every organization to ensure compliance, promote employee welfare, and foster an environment of fairness and mutual respect. At NTPC Korba, we are committed to equipping our team with the necessary tools to navigate these legal aspects effectively, which will ultimately enhance our productivity and work culture."
