NTPC Talcher Kaniha Supports Different Abled Persons

NTPC Talcher Kaniha distributed winter clothes to around 800 blind and different abled persons at Prajamandal Bhawan, Kaniha under its CSR initiative at a program organized by Utkalmani Gopabandhu Blind Relief Society, Kaniha on January 7.

NTPC has been supporting this initiative for the last 3 decades.  The Saree/dhoti, Blankets, Towel, Blind sticks etc were distributed by Chief Guest of the occasion, Shri A K Sehgal, HOP, NTPC Talcher Kaniha and Guest of Honour Sh B K Pandey, AGM(HR), Sh Rafiqul Islam, AGM (CSR) NTPC Kaniha, Dr Sumanta Kumar Patel, CMO, Kaniha CHC and other dignitaries

While addressing the gathering Shri A K Sehgal, conveyed New Year Greetings to the assembled gathering. He stated that NTPC Kaniha is always ready in extending its support for the development of the community through its various CSR initiatives but this CSR initiative is very special and it is the first CSR activity to begin in the new year. He also emphasized that NTPC Kaniha would extend support for the welfare of the specially challenged in the future also.
