ONGC featured in Forbes list of World Best Employers list

New Delhi: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) an Indian public sector multinational crude oil and gas company has been featured in Forbes list of World Best Employers list. 
 
 
The company has bagged its position 750 global companies in Forbes2020 World Best Employers list. Forbes surveyed 160,000 workers in 58 countries to rate companies for factors like COVID19 response, economic footprint, talent development, gender equality, social responsibility. 
 
 
ONGC is owned by the Government of India, under the administrative control of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. It is one of the largest oil and gas exploration and production companies in the country and produces around 70% of India's crude oil (equivalent to around 57% of the country's total demand) and around 84% of its natural gas. In a survey by the Government of India for the fiscal year 2019–20, it was ranked as the largest profit-making PSU in India. It is ranked 7th among the Top 250 Global Energy Companies by Platts.
