V K Singh to be the next Director (Technical) of REC Limited

New Delhi: Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Thursday, March 3, 2022, recommended the name of Mr. V K Singh for the post of Director-Technical, of REC Limited, a Navratna company under the Ministry of Power. Currently, he is serving as Executive Director, in the same company.

PESB interviewed nine other applicants apart from him in the selection meeting, which also includes three Executive Directors from REC, Mr. T S C Bosh, Mr. Fuzail Ahmad, and Mr. Sanjay Kulshrestha.

Apart from them Mr. Pranab Kumar Sinha, Executive Director, Power Finance Corporation (PFC), Mr. Ajay Kumar Gupta, Senior General Manager, Rural Electrification Corporation, Dr. Subir Sen, Executive Director, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., Mr. Vijay Goel, General Manager, NTPC Limited, Mr. Prem Narayan, Deputy Director-General, Unique Identification Authority of India (IRSS), Mr. Mukesh, Group General Manager, DFCCIL (IRSEE) were also interviewed in the meeting. 

Moreover, Mr. Singh can assume the charge of the post, after the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) nod.
