Prime Minister Modi dedicated 600 MW Kameng HPS - Green and Clean Energy Initiative by Govt. of India in the State of Arunachal Pradesh. Design Energy of 3353 Million Units from Kameng HEP will significantly enhance the power position of NER states and the rest of India.
The 600 MW Kameng HPS has been developed at a cost of more than Rs 8450 crore.
All 4 Units of the project were commissioned successfully despite various hurdles faced during the Covid-19 pandemic period.
